Jaque Visser
Bozeman’s Jaque Visser effortlessly channels his love of all genres from indie-pop to reggae into his danceable blend of synthesizer-heavy indie pop. Visser, whose real name is Jack Crawford, is a lifelong musician and multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar, violin) with a decade of EDM and rap production credentials as DuBuddha. For his latest- and arguably greatest- musical endeavor, Visser took inspiration from the likes of the Flaming Lips, Gorillaz, and Santigold, combining the shimmering textures of arthouse indie pop with the energetic beats of alternative hip-hop. This slight change in creative direction has revealed a new dimension of Visser’s talents as a musician.
Visser’s vocal abilities take center stage, creating dynamic and layered melodies that channel the same timeless familiarity and nostalgia as contemporaries Billie Eilish and Charlie Puth. Visser's organic soundscapes and keen ear for dynamics have garnered appearances alongside artists such as Freddy Todd, performing across the country in renowned venues including the Cameo Art Gallery in Harlem, NY. An avid skier and mountain biker whose travels most recently included Costa Rica and Nicaragua, Visser's keen ear for melody and rhythm are sure to entice listeners in search of summertime vibrations- no matter the time of year.
